EMET'S BIRTHDAY WEEK - YEAR 6

This month, we celebrate our son Emet turning 6 years old. Sometime over the last year, our boys discovered and quickly fell in love with the show Bluey. So it’s only natural that Emet wanted his birthday to be Bluey themed this year.

Emet, as we celebrate your 6th year, here’s a small list of things we love about you:

Your love for all things Lego and your desire to be a Lego master builder.
Your desire to always be honest. You come to us and tell us when you’ve made mistakes, been disobedient, or been unkind. Keep this up!
You give the best hugs and snuggles.
You try so hard. We have the motto: “I can do this even when it’s hard.” You strive to do the best you can every day.
You think of others and constantly look for ways to give of yourself for the benefit of others.
You’re always quick to say thank you and you’re sorry.
You’ve developed incredible patience. You do such a good job playing with your brother and sharing the things that are really important to you.
You want to be the best you can be. You’re constantly evaluating your motivation and heart behind why you do things.
You’re very picky about your food. If the texture is off, tastes different than normal, or something new - chances are you’ll try it. But you will not eat it.
You love to be right next to your family. As much as possible.
The way you talk with your hands when you’re explaining something. You’re so animated, and I love it!
We love how you come into the office to show us the things you made, tell us the thoughts you’re thinking, or just sit on the floor and play because you want to be near.
