SUMMER VACATION - 2021

This summer, we planned to vacation at the mountain house that we usually stay at in Boone, NC. There was some last minute conflicts that caused us to adjust our plans slightly. I did a quick look on Airbnb and found a cute cabin in Blue Ridge, Georgia. We've never been to Blue Ridge, Georgia before, but we were pleasantly surprised by how great the location was.

Here are some highlights from our three days in Blue Ridge and extended weekend back home in Louisville:

Hiked a trail that lead to a beautiful waterfall.
Found a new snail friend on a hike and named him "Hulk."
Found a pet store and built a terrarium for Hulk.
Played some of our favorite games together (UNO and Drone Home).
The boys built their new Avenger's Lego set.
Dinner out to a local seafood restaurant.
Grilled out at the cabin.
Explored the town of Blue Ridge.
Spent July 4th outside: swimming, jumping on the trampoline, a water balloon fight, grilling out, and setting off fireworks.
Watched a Marvel movie (we made our way through the entire series this spring / summer).
Spent an afternoon at the Louisville Science Center.
