DELIGHTFUL OLIVE CHEESE BREAD
Everyone needs an easy appetizer to throw together when having guests over, when you need an afternoon snack, or when looking for something to pair with a Mediterranean dish. This Delightful Olive Cheese Bread* is simple, inexpensive, and most importantly - it tastes so good! So grab some of these easy to find ingredients, put on some fun music, and try it out for yourself.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 loaf of french bread
- 12 blue cheese stuffed olives
- 3 ounces of black pitted olives
- 2 stems of green onion
- 2 cups of Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
- 1 stick of salted butter (room temperature)
- 1/4 cup of real mayonnaise
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 325.
- Take blue cheese stuffed olives and black pitted olives and chop roughly until they are in small, manageable pieces.
- Chop two stems of green onion.
- Shred two cups of Monterey Jack cheese.
- Combine olives, onions, cheese, butter, and mayonnaise in mixing bowl and stir together.
- Cut loaf of french bread in half and spread mixture evenly over the both pieces of bread.
- Place on large cooking sheet and bake for 25 minutes or until cheese is melted and golden.
