A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME

When I started my blog in 2016, I created an About Me page so friends can learn a little bit about me. But, it’s been a while… and since there are some new friends, I thought do a quick little post that’s a little bit about me. So, here it goes!

+ To the surprise of many, I'm actually a huge introvert.

+ I love sitting on my back porch with a warm cup of coffee, reading, writing, or working in my day-timer.

+ I love listening to music throughout the day. I'm typically listening to either Beach House, Iron and Wine, or Sufjan Stephens on repeat.

+ I got married at 19. I love my husband more now than when I married him.

+ As I’ve grown older, I’ve continued to care less and less about the opinion of others.

+ I love capturing the moments and taking photos that mean a lot to me.

+ I strive to be slow to speak and quick to love others (even when they're different than me).

+ Sometimes I forget who I used to be... I’m so thankful for the friendships that remind me how much I’ve changed and grown. My close friends are pretty awesome.

+ I blog because I enjoy it. It's become my way of journaling and scrapbooking digitally.

+ There are only so many things you can do in a day, so I work hard to hold a healthy balance of the things I value.

+ I’ve held a large variety of different jobs from Cosmetologist to Merchandiser at Anthropologie to Manager of an Events office. I’ve fallen most in love with this season so far - raising my boys and going into my 4th year of blogging.

+ I've grown a passion for making bone broth, kefir, and fermented vegetables - I crave them.

+ I want to love others more than I love my quiet time.

+ I love check lists, productivity, and getting things done. Nothing beats the red check marks.

+ I’ve taken violin, piano, harp, voice, and dance lessons - but I’m not much good at any of them.

+ I love having two boys, playing outside in the dirt, and hunting for worms. I think they are the greatest ever.

+ I started doing barre last year and I absolutely love it.

I’d love to hear a little bit about you!?
