Life can get really busy. Things are always there to press down on us: urgent tasks, sickness, pressure to move forward on goals. But when we look back on life one day and think about what all of those “pressing” things were for, I doubt that we’ll really even remember. That isn’t to say that they aren’t important, but the things we will remember are the moments that we created together as a family.

The joy and wonder of childhood is constrained into such a short period of time. It moves by faster than you could have imagined, but it contains some of the most random scenes that replay in your memory for the rest of your life. We recently pulled our sick selves out of the house and spent some time laughing, exploring, and observing the awesome beauty of nature together.

I hope you enjoy this little window into our time together and that it inspires you to get out and make a memory with your loved ones.
